Antique Pair Chinese Ancestor Portraits Hand Painted on Silk

Pair of antique Chinese dignitary portraits hand painted on silk, framed & glazed. Both are seated & richly dressed in a robes decorated with dragons indicating their rank. She is wearing an elaborate headdress decorated with pearls. The frame show wear & has some chips. One appears darker then the other due to lighting. Not sure if these were originally scroll paintings? Measure 22.25" tall by 16.25" wide. Portraits alone 18.75" tall by 12.25". Unsigned. The frames have nicks, scrapes & paint loss.
